Project 49
The primary mission of this project is to steer children away from drugs and alcohol through prevention. Cape Cod is the opiod capital of the country right now and everyone has been affected by this awful epidemic in one way or another.
The Alexander Ian Diamantopoulos Foundation is working on building a state of the art sports complex that can serve all of the 15 towns of Cape Cod. The proposed site will be centrally located in Yarmouth. We have a diverse group of individuals who have already committed to serving on our planning board. We are pleased to have the support of town officials, politicians, and many members of the community.
We drafted the first set of architectural plans. The complex will house an Olympic size hockey rink, indoor and outdoor soccer and football fields, basketball courts, a rock climbing wall, a dirt bike track, pool and ping-pong tables, volleyball, a gym and much more. Schools and community organizations up and down the cape will have access to this facility. Our complex will serve all members of the community espeically our children, elders and veterans.
We need your support to add this vital building to our community. We will be a safe haven for all and strive to educate all who enter our facility. Together we can make a change and fight this epidemic.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Cape Cod has always been focused on providing facilities for their aging population via community centers etc but I feel a complex such as this will help give the children a place to keep themselves busy
It is truly the greatest health emergency of our generation. We must find a way to bring our community together in both positive and healthy ways.
We need a community center that would promote health and wholeness. A place where there is something for everyone, at any age and any ability. Kids just want to be around other kids.
Riding dirt bikes was a passion of mine, and every time I tried to do it on the cape I would get in trouble with the police. I think if I had an outlet to pursue that passion I may have made better decisions in my life.
